What is it?

The Mid-West and Great Lakes Regions of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) USA proudly present “Krishna - My Sarathi: Awaken the Krishna in You”, a unique 12-week program designed to inspire and guide individuals of all ages on a journey of self-discovery and shared learning experiences. This program is initiated by Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, USA. This enrichment program is currently being offered in the states of Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

Children from Kinder garden, up to high school, are invited to participate, with a strong emphasis on family involvement. While we strongly encourage both parents to attend and fully engage in the program to enhance the shared family experience, we understand that due to other family constraints and commitments, it may not always be feasible. In such cases, it is mandatory for at least one parent to attend all 12 weekly sessions to ensure active family participation.

The program is carefully designed to strengthen family bonds through activities that integrate the teachings of Shri Krishna into modern life. Parents and children engage together in meaningful exercises, discussions, and reflections, fostering a holistic understanding of how Krishna’s wisdom can be applied in practical and relatable ways.

Format and Timeline

This 12-week program is thoughtfully designed to encourage active participation, learning, and engagement for children and their families. Each 90-minute weekly session features a diverse array of enriching activities, including physical exercises such as warmups and yoga, traditional games (Khel), Subhashitam (wise sayings), storytelling, discussions, workshops, and creative pursuits like arts and crafts. Sessions will be conducted in person at the designated chapter location, ensuring an immersive and interactive experience.

Each chapter will allocate a specific time and space for the sessions, with these details communicated to all registered participants by the local team. The program is set to begin between mid-February and late February, with exact dates varying by location. Once registration is complete, a representative from your local chapter will contact you to provide comprehensive information, including the schedule, venue details, and any other necessary instructions.
